In choosing a market entry strategy, it is critical to recognize that all markets, brands and companies are different.

The entry strategy that may be right for one country may be completely wrong for another due to vastly different economic, political and regulatory environments.

One must also consider how well known your brand is and how much experience your company has in that particular market. Strategies that appear to be more profitable in the long term may require a larger commitment in terms of financial investment, resource requirements and managerial time.
